Today's Treats

I was just gifted a brownie from a customer whose vehicle I went to Service. It was the most interesting delicious brownie I may have ever had! I called them back to thank them profusely and was informed that they were provided by sweet talkin treats. I have never visited the establishment, But I can attest to the amazing quality of the food! I am an expert in desserts, and this one is phenomenal. Be forewarnedit is very rich, but that’s how I like them.

I placed my first ever custom cake order for a surprise golden birthday party for my boyfriend. I gave just general ideas I had, nothing super specific besides color scheme and what I wanted written on it. The cake itself was beautiful! The only reason I am not posting photos is because, at zero fault of the bakery, we messed up some of the writing before I could get a picture, and I didn't want that to reflect on the business at all, it 100% was not on them. The cakes were delicious, and exactly what I wanted. He LOVED the red velvet.
My only little bit of criticism is that I ordered to pick up at 11, and watched the gentleman writing my order up, write 10 as the ready time. I assumed that would allow some grace time just in case they were behind, super great idea. I was disappointed to get there at 11, and be told that my cake was, in fact, not ready yet. The gentleman was super kind about it, and apologized. It was done and in my car by 11:20, though. 20 minutes really isn't that big of a deal, most days. but I was unfortunately not prepared for that wait yesterday, and that was my own fault. My only bit of feedback would be maybe to just give people a call if you're running late? I completely understand that things happen, but it definitely would have saved frustration on my end if I had just gotten a little "hey, we're behind today, your cake will be ready at __ time", and I could have worked some other things around it.
Other than that, my experience with sweet Talkin Treats was excellent. I would absolutely order again. Thank you so much for adding to what was such a special day for us!

I have to say, I love chocolate but typically don't jump for chocolate cake because it can be overly sweet. My son however wanted a chocolate dino cake for his birthday, so of course I got it for him! This cake was the BEST cake I've ever had (no exaggeration) it was so fudgey and delicious, and with the chocolate frosting it still wasn't overly sweet. It was the perfect balance! The service was amazing, I just moved to the area and failed to realize how far they were from my home 😅 but they still were happy to meet me after hours for pick up, everyone was so kind and the pricing was great! Will definitely recommend and be coming back!!
